Introduction to DBT and Mindfulness
An ONLINE Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) program for people struggling with intense emotions, impulsivity and relationship difficulties.

What is DBT?
Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) combines teaching skills in a group setting with individual therapy. It draws on the best of eastern traditions (mindfulness and acceptance) and western behavioural therapies (changing emotions and behaviours for a better life).
The introduction to DBT course is a 3-week course that covers the principles of DBT and Mindfulness and is a pre-requisite for the other modules. Each online session will be for 90 minutes and will cover skills and review your practice during the week.
When: Thursdays, 5-6:30pm, Feb 20, 27, March 6
Mondays, 2.30-4pm, April 28, May 5, 12
Thursdays, 5-6.30pm, May 1, 8, 15 (all times AWST)
Where: Online, you will need the Zoom app and preferably a computer or tablet as we will be sharing documents

The course includes more than 20 hours of content, including 8 hours of one-to-one sessions and downloadable course materials.
You will need to commit to 3 hours a week for 7 weeks plus one hour of orientation and screening.
Public programs have waitlists of up to 18 months and other private DBT programs are charged out at $100s an hour - we have priced ours at about $80 an hour to make this great program more accessible to everyone who needs it.
